The HAIRY PONY FLAT WAXED HORSE PLAITING THREAD is waxed for maximum grip & flattened for easy needle threading. Both Small & Large sizes are compatible with the reel function on HAIRY PONY PLAITING APRON.
The waxed coating on the thread helps to grip to the hairs of your horse's mane and more effectively hold the plait together than normal thread. The flat shape of the thread fits more easily through the eye of the needle and helps prevent pesky frayed edges.

This is fantastic for plaiting tails for Polocrosse ponies too! I’ve never had a tail come out using Hairy Pony thread
